Derek Pratt is the owner of Lightning Management. Derek has a BA in Law and Society and an MA in Spiritual Psychology with 25 years working in Child Development, Special Education, and Adult Mental Health. Derek has worked extensively with children and non-profit organizations.

Derek traded his 20 year career in Mental health for the role of full-time Manager, Administrator of fun and Coach of his daughter and actress, Apollonia Love Pratt "Appy Pratt" Their first stop was Appy's recurring role of CW's hit show "Jane The Virgin" Since then, Appy has gone on to gain credits that include TV & shows and movies such as Dungeons & Dragons (2023) Skeleton In The Closet ( Cuba Gooding Jr, Terrance Howard) The Woman In The House ( Netflix) Rattlesnake ( Netflix) Jimmy Kimmel ( ABC) Appy can be seen in Commercials and Campaigns for Macdonalds, Google, Victoria Beckham, GAP, TARGET, Lexus, AT & T. To name a few.
